ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

Core Training

The Student Affairs Core Training Program is a required training for all student employees working on campus. Delivered via Canvas, this program equips student employees with essential knowledge on topics like bystander intervention, Title IX, career readiness, emergency management, and appropriate responses to mental health crises. Newly hired students can click here to enroll in the Canvas course.

Suitable

In partnership with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), Suitable integrates NACE’s research expertise with their engagement technology, offering students valuable insights into their career readiness. Suitable will enable students to assess their progress and understand how prepared they are for the professional world. Through assessments completed by both students and their supervisors, Suitable generates a comprehensive career readiness report. This report highlights strengths, areas for improvement, and how students compare nationally across the eight NACE competencies. By bridging self-assessments with supervisor evaluations, students can identify key growth opportunities and take actionable steps toward career success.
